Emma Baker
I am a solicitor and a Partner with over 16 years experience as a private client solicitor. I am head of the Private Client department.
A large part of my case load is looking after elderly and vulnerable clients, whether under Lasting Powers of Attorney or under Deputyship Orders. I look after a wide range of people from the very elderly in care homes to people who have head injuries and need help with their financial affairs. I help them with decisions that they may have to make at difficult times in their life or if they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves then I manage their affairs completely.
As well as working for people under Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Orders I also advise on applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyships and registrations of Enduring Powers of Attorney. I advise on Wills for clients with a whole range of requirements including those with complex family situations and providing for disabled and vulnerable beneficiaries. I also advise on Trust matters for trustees and beneficiaries.

Interests
I am married with three children, so when I'm not ferrying them around and clearing up after them, I enjoy going to the theatre and the cinema, art exhibitions and cooking. I am also Chairman of the local Scout group and occasionally find the time for the odd indoor cycling (spin) class at my local gym.
