Throughout her career, Helen has helped thousands of clients in relation to their property transactions including freehold and leasehold residential sales and purchases, new build purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity, commercial property and business acquisitions, commercial leases, share purchase agreements and other property transactions.

Helen moved from her native Cheshire to Kent in 1981 when she joined Boys & Maughan. She then worked in several Kent law firms before joining Gardner Croft LLP in May 2018, and returning to Boys & Maughan when the practices merged in May 2023.

Offering both local and London expertise, Helen has many clients who have followed her throughout her lengthy career. Helen continues to undertake professional development courses in property related subjects to ensure she keeps up to date with changes in law and procedures for the benefit of her clients.

Helen is a member of the Kent Law Society, and the firm holds the Law Society’s accreditation for the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices.

Outside of the office, Helen is often active in the local community, having been involved in local groups including as chair of a resident’s shop association run by volunteers for the benefit of the village where she lives. Helen is also interested in local history.
