Consultant / Solicitor

Peer Le Fleming is a highly experienced private client specialist solicitor who is known for his carefully considered and well-informed advice, and providing individually focused services and solutions to his clients.

A thoroughly nice person to deal with, Peer often advises on complex issues, and feels that it is important to communicate with clients in plain English, so they have a clear understanding of those issues.

Peer has specialised in private client matters for the past 20 years and prior to that he represented clients as a criminal lawyer and children law specialist. Peer has been a trusts and estates practitioner and a full member of the Society for Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2006 and is a member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers. Peer is also a Member of the Law Society Private Client Section.

Peer graduated with a BA (Hons) in Law from the University of Kent in 1974 and was admitted as a solicitor in 1977. Peer practised with Gardner Croft as an assistant solicitor, then as a partner before becoming a consultant solicitor, a role Peer has continued to enjoy after the merger with Boys & Maughan in May 2023.

Before turning to private client work, Peer practised for many years as an advocate in the family courts dealing with children’s cases. Peer also trained as a family mediator and finds the skills from those disciplines helpful in his day-to-day practice when dealing with or advising on client's difficult family situations.

Away from the office, Peer enjoys narrow boating and motorcycling.
