Team Profiles Ian Pinder Position: Lawyer 01227 813400 Email me Work Area: Litigation Employment Accreditations: Member of the Employment Law Association About Me I am a Senior Solicitor in the Commercial and Litigation department at Gardner Croft LLP. I qualified as a solicitor at a London firm in 2003. Since then I have specialised in Commercial Litigation and Employment Law, helping businesses to avoid law suits where possible and successfully representing them where it was not. I provide advice on all employment matters and a wide variety of commercial issues, such as partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, contract disputes and debt recovery. I also deal with a wide variety of other disputes, including disputes over property such as boundary disputes, issues over rights of way, service charges, unpaid rent and evictions; disputed estates including challenges to wills, disputes between executors and beneficiaries about how to deal with the estate and claims by people who feel the will did not make adequate provision for them or disputes between trustees and beneficiaries (or between the trustees!). I have dealt with thousands of matters ranging from straightforward settlement agreements to complicated discrimination claims, from minor debts to multi-million-pound disputes. I also draft documents related to the above such as employment contracts, commercial agreements and partnership or shareholders agreements. My time is spent fairly equally across the whole range of the above, although the mix will vary at any given time depending on which clients need my help at the time. I am bilingual in English and German and spent a year in Germany studying German law as part of my degree and am particularly interested in matters with an Anglo-German dimension. Personal Mission Statement My aim is to help businesses and individuals resolve their legal disputes to their satisfaction and as cost-effectively as possible.
