Coronavirus Statement – 15/06/2020 Gardner Croft is pleased to announce its office will reopen on Monday 15th June, 2020. We have altered our rooms and procedures to ensure the safety of clients, staff and anyone visiting the premises. We are following the guidance issued by Public Health England, which can be found using the following link: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19 Where clients are concerned, we are still encouraging remote appointments via Zoom, WhatsApp and Skype. Many of our staff will still work remotely. You may feel, however, that there is a need to come in and speak to us in person. Perhaps your situation is too complex or sensitive to deal with remotely. We will also be witnessing Wills and LPAs. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer face-to-face appointments where necessary. Client and staff safety is paramount and so we have given time and thought to making sure the office is ready to welcome clients again. The reception desk is covered by a clear screen to protect clients and staff. No more than two people will be allowed in reception at one time. The meeting room is configured to allow for two-metre social distancing. There are clear markings on the floor to help clients adhere to social distancing rules. Hand sanitiser and facemasks are available at reception. A table is reserved in reception for clients to write at or drop off paperwork. Appointments will be held one at a time and each meeting will be for no more than two client/visitors. We are looking forward to resuming normal service as far as it is safe to do so. Please rest assured, however, that Gardner Croft will continue to work for you even if you would prefer not to come to the office. We can continue to provide the same level of excellent service via telephone, Zoom and Skype. Please do not attend the offices if you have a high temperature, a new continuous cough and loss or change to your sense of taste and smell. We do reserve the right to take your temperature should we feel it necessary to protect our staff and other visitors to our building.
